Answer #3: Job & Goal of Crown

"3) What do you see is the job of being Crown? What do you see as the goal of being Crown?"

Trying to catch up with the questions poised, and I'm having a hard time trying to put down in words my answer to this one. The "job" as you put it, I guess is to be the personification of a Kingdom, and the SCA. The Crown is the one that many look to as the leader of a Kingdom, but also as the "cheerleader" for lack of a better term. Their actions do hold significance on people, and their individual pursuit for "the Dream". So, being a good example, and promoting "the Dream" is a primary "job" or goal for a Crown.

Leadership is one quality that I think many would assume. I'm not sure that is the case entirely. A keen leadership can't hurt, but I don't think it's necessary in our game. The Crown is the one though, that many look towards as the example of our Kingdom. Our Kingdom pride so to speak.

The main job or goal of Crown, I believe, is to be fair, do everything they can to inspire the populace to do their best and enjoy our game, and to forever challenge everyone to create their own special "Medieval Moment."
